The KinderHerz Foundation supports research projects of numerous high-specialized child heart competence centre in order to improve the medical care for the small patients continuously and strongly.

Help for cardiac children since 1989

In 1989, kinderherzen was founded by doctors and the parents of cardiac children. The main aim of the association, which is to 100% funded by donations, is to improve the treatment options for cardiac children worldwide decisively.

Hilfe für Kinder mit Organtransplantationen

KiO ist im Bereich der Kindertransplantation das einzige übergreifende deutsche Hilfswerk. Mehr als 100 Olympiasieger, Welt- und Europameister gründeten die Organisation, um betroffenen Kindern und deren Familien zu helfen. Die KiO unterstützt die Familien finanziell sowie mit Freizeit-Programmen, die transplantierten Kindern neues Selbstvertrauen schenken.

The charitable rehab clinic works in the concept of a family-focussed rehabilitation: the children suffering from cancer or cardiac problems spend their four week rehabilitation with their parents, brothers and sisters. They get individual medical and psychological assistance.

The children's palliative care team cares actively and comprehensively children, youths and their families, when a disease is limiting life early.
