Every 15 minutes, someone in Germany gets the shattering diagnosis of blood cancer. Many patients are children and youths, whose only chance to cure is a stem cell donation. The aim of the DKMS is to find a fitting life saver for every patient.

Mit dem Programm „GUT BEGLEITET – VON ANFANG AN“ stehen sie insbesondere jenen zur Seite, die sich in einer belastenden Lebenslage oder akuten Krise befinden. Sie begleiten, stärken und entlasten – damit werdende Eltern und junge Familien ihren Weg mit Zuversicht gehen können.

Passion for cars links people all over the world but can do so much more, like the organisation DRIVE FOR MILES proves. Driving fun is linked with a good cause, as with each mile driven, money is donated to charities, especially such caring for children suffering from cancer.

Following the principle „Helping in the dimension of misery", the Kinderhilfsfonds Sachsen supports children, youths and families in need and not obtaining help by public or other institutions. Especially, quick, uncomplicated financial help for children, youths and families in urgent emergencies is provided.

Wo früher ausschließlich Leben gerettet wurden, geht es heute noch ein Stückchen weiter. Kinderbetreuung oder Familienhilfe beispielsweise, aber auch Sanitäts- und Rettungsdienst, Flüchtlingsberatung oder Angebote für Senioren. Das Deutsche Rote Kreuz schützt da, wo menschliches Leiden zu verhüten und zu lindern ist!
