Handicap International is an independant and non-partisan organisation for international solidarity, intervening in poverty, ostracism, conflict and catastrophe situations. The organisations campaigns for people with disabilities and other people in need of protection. It points out problems and acts in order to react to the basic needs of these people, to improve their general living conditions and to promote the respect for their dignity and basic rights.
