Every minute counts when someone suffers a cardiac arrest. If the patient does not receive first aid measures, the risk to lose conscience permanently, to suffer from severe brain damages or to die will increase considerably. Because of this, survivors of a circulatory arrest, EMTs and doctors founded the association "Hand aufs Herz" (Hand on the heart) in 2012. They are offering special trainings in order to teach people in first aid measures and thus to make possible a normal life for more people after such an emergency.
