Udo Lindenberg Foundation

The foundation supports national and international activities and stands by the weaker people

„Ich rufe die Lebenden!“ ("I call the living!") was written on the title when Hermann Hesse founded his political and literate magazine "VIVOS VOCO!" – for the victims of war and against antisemitism. Almost 90 years later, the panic nightingale of the Coloured Republic called the survivors, the ones above, beyond mainstream: Udo Lindenberg founded his cultural-political foundation on December 10th, 2006, in Hesse's birth city Calw in order to give a new platform to the lone wolves among the musicians and to link Hermann Hesse's poetry with music. The Udo Lindenberg Foundation wants to support national and international activities and to stand by the weaker people in the world with social projects.
