The Sonnenstrahl e. V. Dresden supports arts therapy in the children's cancer wards of the University clinic in Dresden as well as offers for brothers and sisters of children suffering from cancer. Whereas arts therapy supports the ill children in a creative way and therapeutically in the digestion of their illness and aggressive therapy, the offers for brothers or sisters are group meetings of healthy children where they learn to accept their difficult family situation and where they get professional consolidation and backing. The Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung in Bonn, which is mainly funded by donations, helps children suffering from cancer and their families with words and deeds and boost for the continuous improvement of healing chances, therapy methods and the life quality of the ill children.
