The Oliver Kahn Foundation supports the building of education centres worldwide in order to motivate and boost socially deprived children and youths with the power of football. Each centre is known as a safe place. There is a football ground and an educational instituation and for each centre, a coaching programme with coaches are provided - with their support, young people have support for the development of their personality. 

Oliver Kahn himself says about his foundation: "The Oliver Kahn Foundation will support many socially deprived young people and give them the chance for a better life."
