The Artemed Foundation works in areas where is only few medical infrastructure. Furthermore, the foundation supports projects of medical apprenticeship and education. A core area project is the care for AIDS orphans in the poorest regions of Namibia. There, a broad care programme has been created, providing food, drugs and other support for the orphans. A container village has been raised, having developed quickly into a stable help institution in the region. Besides a soup kitchen for deprived children, there also exists a pharmacy container for the distribution of drugs to people in need.
