AIDS awareness project in South Africa

The project ensures the medical care and clarifies about HIV and AIDS

The HIV/AIDS infection rate in the east of South Africa is almost at 40 per cent and thus the highest in the whole country, with momentous consequences: AIDS especially affects the working generation, leaving elderly people and children. The Kindernothilfe boosts a project offering a new home to more than 2,400 affected grils and boys. 109 volunteers are working there. The project ensures a regular medal care for the children, clarifies about HIV and AIDS and sends the smallest to kindergartens and the older ones to school. The Kindernothilfe boosts a project supporting families to take care of orphans. In the communities of Msunduzi and Richmond, many orphans and children infected with HIV/AIDS and needing help live.
